Rev. Dr. Susan Hernandez pastors the First Hispanic Baptist Church of Santa Barbara, CA.  It is the first Hispanic ministry of the American Baptists in the continental U.S.  She has been in ministry either as a pastor, or assistant pastor for the past 26 years serving in Orange County, Ca, East Los Angeles, and Central Valley of CA. Before that she was a secondary teacher in public schools, worked as a community organizer, and -- like most people in Anaheim -- worked for a while at Disneyland.  She currently lives in Anaheim, CA.
