Rev. Anita Peebles (she/her) is a co-pastor of Seattle First Baptist Church. She has served Seattle First Baptist Church since 2018. Rev. Anita completed her MDiv at Vanderbilt Divinity. She is affiliated with the Alliance of Baptists and the Baptist Peace Fellowship of North America~Bautistas por la Paz. Rev. Anita is a co-author of New Directions for Holy Questions: Progressive Christian Theology for Families (Morehouse 2022). Rev. Anita lives in Seattle with her husband Scotty and their cat.
