Rev. Dr. Hrang Hlei

Rev. Dr.Hrang Hlei serves as the Associate General Secretary of Chin Baptist Churches, USA and he also serves as the Pastor for Congregational Care at Indiana Chin Baptist Church. He has also served at this church as the Pastor of Christian Education. In addition to these roles, he is an active advocate for the human rights of the people of Burma in his work together with the Education Working Committee assisting Leslie Turley at the Burma Advocacy Group (BAG). 

Rev. Dr. Hlei completed his PhD in Congregational Mission and Leadership at Luther Seminary in St. Paul, MN. He has also taught an introductory course to Systems Thinking for pastoral leadership at Central Seminary. His personal connection to our region is that he was formerly the pastor of Seattle Chin Baptist in the Evergreen Asian Caucus.
