Pneuma (πνεῦμα) is the Greek word for "breath" and is often used in the New Testament as the word for "spirit" or "soul." We create and move because of the divine breath coming into us: this is the literal connection to inspire! All of our ministry needs to be divinely "inspired" or "breathed upon" through the Spirit so that we can live out our calling.
The Pneuma Initiative was created to inspire Evergreen to be innovative in every work of the gospel. The Pneuma Endowment Fund (formerly known as the Building Bridges Fund) is the source of this initiative.
